Ocean City Events

With all the festivals and events lined up for the year, Ocean City is the perfect destination for anyone looking for a little summer fun. Take your pick from the hoard of events, including the annual Springfest, Sunfest, or the Ocean Calling Music Festival, and join thousands as they celebrate music, drinks, and good food.

Springfest

May 4th – 7th , 2023

This year’s 32nd anniversary of Springfest festival will feature exciting musical performances with headliners such as Shadows of the ’60s, Collective soul, and Mary Stuart and his Fabulous Superlatives taking the stage.

Enjoy the unique arts and crafts creations from Springfest artisans and food from hundreds of food vendors in attendance. Admission to the festival is completely free of charge, andwill be held at the inlet lot, south end of Ocean City’s Boardwalk.

July 4th Music and Fireworks

Don’t miss the annual 4th of July fireworks at any of the 3 locations in Ocean City, Maryland. You can carry your blanket or chair and enjoy free concerts, followed by fireworks displays downtown on the beach at N. Division Street or Northside Park.

On the other hand, party lovers can bank on fun times at the infamous Seacrets, right next to the Princess Bayside Beach Hotel. Jam to live music and dance all day before the fireworks kick in.

White Marlin Open Fishing Tournament

August 7th – 11th, 2023

Registration: 11 a.m to 5 p.m

Known as the largest bill fishing tournament in the world, the 50th year of the White Marlin Open Fishing Tournament offers an exciting time for fishing enthusiasts. Register and compete for over $ 8.6 million worth of prize money, or simply check out the weigh-ins up close or on the big screens free of charge.

The Open will be at Harbor Island, located at 14th street and the bay. Make sure you arrive early to secure the best spots.

OC Bikefest

September 13th – 17th, 2023

Get ready to join over 150,000 bikers and motorcycle enthusiasts on the beach for the largest motorcycle festival on the eastern coast. The four-day biker event will be packed with exhilarating bike shows, good food, and rock performances by headline acts, including Lynyrd Skynyrd and ZZ Top.

OC Beach Dance Party

July 10th – August 28th, 2023

Monday Nights from 7:30 – 9:30 p.m

Dance the night away to the tune of Interactive entertainment and music by various local DJs at the Ocean Beach Dance Party. The event will be at Caroline Street Stage on the beach next to the Boardwalk. Enjoy local cuisine from various vendors. Don’t forget to carry a blanket and chair for the night in the sand.

Oceans Calling Music Festival

September 29th – October 1st, 2023

The Oceans Calling music festival is a three-day festival that’s all about music. Get your rock on with over 30 performances on all three stages in Ocean City’s Boardwalk, with appearances by local and national headliners including O.A.R..

Sunfest

October 19th – 22nd, 2023

Thursday – Saturday: 10:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.

Sunday: 10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.

One of the most highly anticipated events of Ocean City, MD, events, Sunfest is the largest outdoor festival on the eastern shore. For four days, visitors and locals will be treated to the free live entertainment throughout the day, with over 20 groups playing on the two live outdoor stages.

Enjoy various foods and handcrafted goods, including clothing, glass, jewelry, photography, and pottery. The event will be at the Atlantic Oceanfront on the south end of the Boardwalk.
