If you’ve been around town recently, you’ve probably started to hear all of the tourists and vacationers saying things about the summer ending and this so-called “off-season” approaching.
There is nothing “off” about it!
As the summer months wind down, fall is quickly approaching and it’s bringing beautiful beach weather and exciting events to Ocean City!
This year has definitely been a hot and humid one, with record-breaking humidity levels throughout the entire country. Luckily, with the cool ocean breeze and refreshing, clean air that will soon set in, September and October (even parts of November!) are the absolute perfect times to spend at the beach.
Along with perfect, sunny days where you don’t break a sweat within your first few minutes outside, lots of things are happening in town during these fall months!
Sunfest will kick off the end to our hot summer months and bring in live music and entertainment, delicious foods and exciting Ocean City vibes to the Inlet on Sept. 20-23.
Wine on the Beach welcomes you to sip your favorite types of white and red (and everything in between) while digging your toes in the sand the weekend of Sept. 28! Featuring wineries along the East Coast, this festival is $35 for admission, which includes a commemorative wine glass and wine tasting samples!
Along with all of the exciting festivals and events, you also have the holiday season approaching quickly. From O.C.Toberfest, celebrating Halloween all month long, to endless Fall festivities, Ocean City has plenty of events to keep you busy during the “off-season.”
