There’s something about the crisp ocean air and beachy aroma that make holiday celebrations just a little more special! This year, Ocean City is the happening place for the holiday season! Restaurants are offering amazing Thanksgiving buffet deals, parades will fill the streets, and of course, the Annual Winterfest of Lights will illuminate North Ocean City, making countless memories for friends and families spending their winter vacation at the beach.

Thanksgiving Dinner

Throughout town, various restaurants will offer buffet-style Thanksgiving meals, and we recommend you make your reservations sooner than later–they fill up fast!

Enjoy Thanksgiving with Princess Royale for their traditional holiday buffet. Adults are $23.95, Children are half-price, and children under 5 are free with paying adults. Check out their Thanksgiving Stay Package!

Captain’s Table on 15th St. will have a traditional holiday menu available from 1-8pm featuring a carving station with turkey, sliced turkey breast and ham, stuffing and gravy, mashed potatoes, and seafood including baked salmon and fried oysters. Adults are $27.95, Children 5-10 are $9.95, and Children under 5 are complimentary.

Embers on 23rd St. Thanksgiving Buffet begins at 1pm on Thanksgiving Day. Adults are $26.99; seniors (65+) are $23.99, and children, depending on age, range from Free - $13.99. They will also offer a unique carry-out Thanksgiving Feast for those of you who wish to get the family together at home without the hassle of cooking!

The Horizon’s Oceanfront Restaurant in the Clarion Hotel on 101st St. will offer Maryland crab soup, roasted Maryland turkey, baked ham, broiled salmon with champagne dill sauce, and much more! There is limited seating in the restaurant, so parties of 8 or more will likely dine in the Crystal Ballroom. Adults are $29.95, Children 4-12 are $19.95, and under 3 are free.

Holiday Happenings

The Light Up Downtown Festival on Nov. 17 is a free event and great for the entire family to do some holiday shopping, visit local vendors, listen to live music, watch the beautiful tree lighting, and visit with Santa. There will also be crafts, games, and prizes for all the kids to enjoy! Head to the Boardwalk at the Ocean City Inlet from 2-6pm to enjoy this free event to get in the holiday spirit!

The Holiday Shoppers Fair will be from Nov. 23 to 25! For just $3 (children under 13 are free) you can find unique handmade merchandise, nautical items perfect for decorating your home, candles, photography, jewelry, and more at this event held at the Ocean City Convention Center. Along with great shopping opportunities, there will be various activities for the kids, a food court, door prizes, and photos with Santa! The Fair will go all weekend long, Friday and Saturday from 10am-5pm, and Sunday from 10am-3pm. This is the best time to get all of your holiday shopping in!

The Ocean City Christmas Parade will begin at 11am on Dec. 1! This marks the 35th year of the annual parade. Participants will march northbound in the southbound lanes to 120th St. where the judges will be waiting to review the bands and other parade participants in nine various categories, presenting the awards at the post-parade celebration at the Carousel Hotel with half-price ice skating, holiday music with a DJ, and photo opportunities with Mr. and Mrs. Claus!
