There’s no better place to learn how Ocean City grew from a small fishing village to a premiere resort destination than here at the Ocean City Life-Saving Station Museum. The original Life-Saving Station was built in 1878 and was used to prevent ship disasters and to rescue and provide aid to those shipwrecked. Along with learning about the station itself, you can also explore their permanent collection of exhibits. Sands From Around the World can help you discover which beach has sand that looks like pepper, The Boardwalk of Yesterday allows you to see nostalgic boardwalk scenes, The Aquarium Room is a saltwater exhibit that contains two 250 gallon and many smaller aquariums filled with interesting creatures indigenous to the Ocean City waters, and there are many other permanent exhibits to explore. Special exhibits like the Little Keepers Day Room/Play Room, an interactive children’s discovery room where kids can play and learn what it was like to be a Surfman in the U.S. Life-Saving Service, are also available. Take some time to reminisce with our Ocean City Memories or let yourself travel back through time to join the heroic Surfmen of the US Life-Saving Service on a rescue mission all in one place.

Guests who use third-party booking sites often feel overwhelmed by the reservation process, including such factors as hotel selection and cancellation fees. By booking directly with Princess Bayside Beach Hotel, you streamline the reservation process and start packing for your beach getaway.
Booking directly with a hotel can save you time, frustration, and possibly money. In addition, many hotels can provide a better deal than booking sites because many third-party site rates are non-refundable.
Additionally, guests who book through a third-party site may need to handle issues like a credit card dispute with the booking company — and not the hotel. The tangled process of contacting the correct department can leave you on hold and completely stressed.
These are just a few examples of complications that can arise with a third-party booking site. You can avoid frustration by reaching out directly to a hotel.
At Princesses Bayside Beach Hotel, stress is the last thing we want our guests to experience. When you book directly with us, we can place your mind at ease regarding your upcoming stay.

Third-party booking sites incorporate fees that affect everyone using the sites. You can cut through the clutter of the reservation process by skipping these sites and booking directly with Princess Bayside Beach Hotel.
Planning for a vacation is fun and exciting. However, price is an important component as you contemplate how long to stay in Ocean City. Booking your stay directly with our hotel can streamline the reservation process and afford you more time for trip planning.
Guests of the Princess Bayside Beach Hotel do not have to stray far to rest and relax. A rooftop pool and bar, for example, are an elevator or staircase away from your hotel room. A heated, indoor pool is also available for guests.
For those seeking water adventure, on-site eco-friendly watersports are available for your choosing. The beautiful waters of Ocean City are nearby, with a private bayfront beach and a one-block walk to the Atlantic Ocean.
